Selection and Interview

Selection has two stages:

• Screening: all applications are screened first. Meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting. IIT Dharwad reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates by introducing higher benchmarks.
• Online interview: only shortlisted applicants will be called. Emails will be sent to all shortlisted candidates.

The selection process is tentatively scheduled for 19 November 2026. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Selection Process.

Important Instructions

• The number of vacancies is tentative. IIT Dharwad reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at the time of selection, or to not fill any of them.
• After joining, the appointee must abide by the Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, Statutes and Act of the Institute. The appointee may be assigned any duty within or outside the Institute, depending on the exigency of the work.
• The Institute will verify antecedents and documents at the time of appointment or during the tenure. Services will be terminated at once if the documents are fake or adverse antecedents have been suppressed, and legal action may be initiated.
• If an inadvertent mistake in the selection is detected at any stage, even after the appointment letter is issued, the Institute may modify, withdraw or cancel any communication made to applicants.
• No interim correspondence will be entertained.
• Canvassing in any form, or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be a disqualification.
• In any dispute or ambiguity in the selection process, the decision of the Institute will be final.
