• Preparing and issuing legal notices to government departments, local self-government bodies and other agencies for negligence in road safety work.
• Drafting agreements, MoUs, guidelines and other legal documents.
• Examining the legal aspects of the Authority’s administrative and road safety decisions.
• Giving opinions on the legal aspects of applications under the RTI Act, 2005, and handling appeal-related work.
• Interpreting the laws and rules connected with the Authority’s work and preparing proposals for necessary amendments.
• Other legal work assigned by the Hon’ble Commissioner.
