The selection is being held for 02 temporary project posts, comprising 01 Senior Project Associate on a monthly stipend of Rs. 42,000/- plus 30% HRA and 01 Junior Research Fellow on a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000/- plus 30% HRA.

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, functioning under the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, located at Girinagar, Pune – 411 025. The current engagement is for contractual project staff to work under the MEITY-sponsored research project titled “Enabling Explainable and Privacy Preserving AI for Security and Surveillance” in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The tenure of these positions is purely temporary for 04 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Candidates must report at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Girinagar, Pune at 1100 Hrs on 4 November 2026. A detailed scrutiny of original certificates and testimonials alongside attested photocopies will be conducted before candidates are evaluated through the walk-in interview.

• In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended.
