DHS Erode Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Medical Officer (HWC): MBBS Degree awarded by a University or Institution recognized by the UGC for the purpose of its grants. The Courses must have been approved by the Medical council of India.
• Tuberculosis Health Visitor (NTEP): Graduate in Science (OR) Intermediate (10 + 2 ) in science and experience of working as MPW / LHV / ANM / Health Worker Certificate. (OR) Higher course in Health Education / Counselling. (OR) Tuberculosis Health visitors recognized course. Certificate course in computer operations (Minimum Two Months).
• Lab Technician (NTEP): Intermediate (10 + 2 ) and Diploma or Certified Course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. 1 Year Experience in NTEP or Sputum Smear Microscopy.
• Senior Treatment supervisor (STS): Bachelor’s Degree OR Recognized sanitary inspector’s course -Tuberculosis health visitor’s recognized course. Govt recognized degree/diploma in Social work or Medical Social work. Successful completion of basic training course (Govt recognized) for Multi-purpose health workers. Certificate course in computer operation (minimum2 months) Permanent two wheeler driving license & should be able to drive two wheeler.
• Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory supervisor (STLS): Graduate. Diploma in Medical Laboratory technology or equivalent from a govt recognized institution. Permanent two wheeler driving license & should be able to drive two wheeler. Certificate course in computer operations (Minimum two months) Minimum one year experience in RNTCP.
• Counsellor (ICTC): Graduate degree in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development or Diploma in Nursing with minimum 3 years of experience in HIV/AIDS.
• Lab Technician (ICTC): Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)-2 years from state government approved institution only.
• Refrigeration Mechanic: Certificate course in ITI Refrigeration Mechanic & Air-Conditioning with One year experience.
• Security Guard: 8th Standard Pass and Able to read and write.
• Data Entry Operator: Graduate in any Degree. One year diploma in Computer Application. Typing speed of 40wpm in English.
• Mid-Level Health Provider: Diploma in GNM / B.Sc (Nursing) from Government or Government Approved Private Nursing Colleges which are recognised by the Indian Nursing Council / Completed Certified Course in Community Health Care under TN Dr MGR Medical University / COVID19 Experience Certificate.
• Health Inspector (MTM): Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Must have passed Tamil Language as a subject in S.S.L.C. level. Must possess two Years of Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) /Health Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector Course training.
• Hospital Worker / Support Staff (UHWC): Should have studied minimum 8th standard. Must be able to read and write.
• Multi Purpose Hospital Worker: 8th Standard Pass/Able to read and write for Tamil.
• Radiographer: B.Sc.Radiography.
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor of Physiotherapist (BPT) from any Recognized University.
• MMU Driver: 10th Pass / LMV Batch.
• UPHC Pharmacist: +2 Examination with Science Subject. Diploma in Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.
• ECHO Technician: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Echocardiography/Echocardiography Technology/Cardiac Care Technology.
