DHFWS Hassan Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 24 Pharmacist, Staff Nurse and More Posts

District Health and Family Welfare Society, Hassan (DHFWS Hassan) is recruiting candidates for 24 vacancies on a contract basis up to 31 March 2027 or till the end of the financial year. The posts include Specialist Doctor (Yoga and Naturopathy), Specialist Doctor (Ayurveda), Pharmacist, Masseur, Staff Nurse, Multi-Purpose Worker, and Community Health Officer. The appointments are completely temporary on a contract basis up to 31 March 2027 or till the end of the financial year. A compulsory one-day technical break will be given after the completion of the financial year before extending contract services subject to departmental orders and approval from the District AYUSH Recruitment Committee. Candidates appointed to contractual posts will have no claim for regular appointment, pension, gratuity, or pay scale.

The selection will be made based on merit, work experience, and personal interview as prescribed by the guidelines.

Scrutiny and Shortlisting

Applications received within the deadline will be scrutinised based on eligibility criteria. For posts with up to 3 vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview in the ratio of 1:5. For posts with more than 3 vacancies, candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:3.

Weightage and Merit Calculation

A merit list carrying a maximum of 100 marks will be prepared based on the ratio 70:20:10:

• 70% weightage (maximum 70 marks) based on marks obtained in qualifying degree or examination.
• 20% weightage (maximum 20 marks) for additional AYUSH hospital/clinic work experience (calculated at 1 mark for every 3 months of additional experience, up to 4 marks per year, beyond the mandatory minimum experience).
• 10% weightage (maximum 10 marks) for personal interview.

Documents Required

• Duly filled and signed application form.
• SSLC / 10th standard marks card or birth certificate for proof of date of birth.
• Marks cards and degree/diploma certificates of the prescribed qualifying examination.
• Experience certificates from Government or KPME-registered private AYUSH hospitals/clinics showing the mandatory KPME registration number.
• Salary certificate of the last 3 months countersigned by the head of the institution where experience was gained.
• Caste and reservation certificates (Form-D for SC/ST, Form-E for Category-1, Form-F for 2A/2B/3A/3B) issued by the competent Tahsildar.
• Rural study certificate from 1st to 10th standard countersigned by the BEO (for rural reservation).
• Disability certificate (UDID card or certificate from District Medical Board showing minimum 40% disability, for PwD reservation).

• Applications received after 5 November 2026 at 5:30 PM will be rejected outright.
• Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post must submit separate application forms for each post.
• If an applicant submits an incomplete application or applies for multiple posts in a single application form, it will be rejected.
• Candidates who are awaiting results of the prescribed qualifying examination as on the last date to apply are not eligible.
• Community Health Officer posts filled on temporary contract basis will be valid only until regular Medical Officers are transferred or appointed to those Ayushman Arogya Mandiras.
• Experience certificates from private clinics/hospitals will only be accepted if the institution is registered under KPME and mentions the registration number.
• No marks will be awarded for the mandatory minimum experience required for a post; marks (up to 20 marks) are awarded only for additional experience beyond the minimum.
• Selected candidates must remain at the headquarters and be available for emergency duties 24 hours a day.
• The appointment is strictly contractual and does not entitle the candidate to regularisation, transfer, or pensionary benefits.
• Candidates seeking termination of contract must give one month’s advance notice to the administrative medical officer and District AYUSH Recruitment Committee / Directorate of AYUSH.
