Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) has announced 8 vacancies for Senior Resident posts in the Department of Cardiology on a contract basis for an adhoc appointment of 89 days. Candidates possessing MS/MD Medicine and aged 45 Years as on 7 February 2026 can attend the walk-in interview on 24 October 2026, reporting at 10:00 AM. The pay is as per Institute rule. Age Limit

The upper age limit is 45 Years as on 07th Feb 2026. Relaxation is applicable as per State Govt. Rule, i.e., 05 Years for SC/ST, 03 Years for EBC/BC and 03 years for all categories of Female Candidate.

Selection Process

• SC/ST – 40th Percentile

• Reservation and relaxation benefits are applicable only to Bihar State Domicile candidates.
• The Director of the Institute reserves the right to reject or accept any or all applications without assigning any reason.
