Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR CIRCOT) has announced 20 vacancies for Young Professional – I (YP-I) Under “State-wise Ginning Outturn (GOT) study” posts at Nagpur, Guntur, Coimbatore, Dharwad, Sirsa, Surat, and Mumbai locations on a contract basis. The engagement tenure runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 and up to 30 September 2027, with a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000 per month. Who Can Apply

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, or Information Technology, OR a Three-Year Diploma in Engineering and Technology. For Commerce and Information Technology categories, graduation with a minimum of 60% marks is required. For the Commerce category, a minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant field is also required.

Age Limit

Minimum age will be 21 years and maximum age will be 45 years. Relaxation is applicable as per government rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PH candidates.

Pay and Tenure

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated amount of Rs. 30,000/- per month. TA/DA will be admissible for undertaking domestic tours for official work as per ICAR Rules. Income tax or any other tax liable under prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment of monthly salary.

• The above posts are purely temporary and contractual in nature.
• Period of engagement is from 01.11.2026 to 31.03.2027 for Nagpur, Surat, Sirsa, Guntur, Dharwad, and Coimbatore, and from 01.11.2026 to 30.09.2027 for Mumbai.
• Candidates already employed elsewhere must produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.
• The engagement will be up to the completion of the project, subject to satisfactory performance evaluated by the Director ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai.
• Unauthorized absence from the project/work for a continuous period of 08 days without valid reasons shall lead to automatic termination of engagement.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of candidature.
