CSB Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 2 Junior Research Fellow, Project Assistant Posts

Central Silk Board (CSB) is recruiting candidates for 2 Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant vacancies on a contract basis. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview on 6 November 2026 reporting at 10:00 AM at the Central Office, Central Silk Board, BTM Layout, Madiwala, Bengaluru. Applicants must meet the post-wise qualifications, with Junior Research Fellow requiring MBA-Agribusiness Management/M.Sc.-Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation/Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Extension and Project Assistant requiring a Full-time degree in B.Sc.-Agriculture / Agri Business / Sericulture. The pay is Rs. 21,000 per month or Rs. 31,000 per month for Junior Research Fellow and Rs. 15,000 per month or Rs. 20,000 per month for Project Assistant. Candidates should produce original documents with self-attested copies and submit a duly-filled-in application and complete bio-data at the time of the interview.

The selected candidates will be engaged for the project titled “Value Chain Analysis and Efficiency Mapping of Mulberry Silk in India” (MTL 13004 MIC) at the RCS Section of Central Office, Central Silk Board, Bengaluru.

Age Limit

The upper age limit as on the date of notification is 35 years of age for Junior Research Fellow and 30 years of age for Project Assistant.

• Original and self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets (SSLC, PUC/HSC, B.Sc./M.Sc.)
• Birth Certificate
• NOC from present employer if employed
• Research experience documents, if applicable

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must attend the Walk-In-Interview on 06.11.2026 at 10:00 AM at the Central Office, Central Silk Board, BTM Layout, Madiwala, Bengaluru- 560068. Selection is based on qualification, experience, and performance in the interview as per project requirements. Provisional degree certificate holders are eligible if they produce photocopies of all mark sheets at the time of interview.
