NIT Raipur Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Walkin

National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur) has announced 1 vacancy for the Project Assistant post on a project-based and purely temporary basis. Eligible candidates with B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent branches with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, and below 30 years of age on the date of interview, can attend the walk-in interview on 22 October 2026 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Raipur. The notified consolidated pay for the post is Rs. 16,500. Applicants must be present at the venue 30 minutes before the interview time and bring a duly filled application form along with two passport size photographs. The selection process consists of a walk-in interview followed by the announcement of results on the same date.

The selected candidate will work on the research project titled “Sustainable Water Management Strategies for the Devbhog Dairy Plant, Durg (Chhattisgarh) based on Comprehensive Water Audit” sponsored by Chhattishgarh Rajya Sahakari Dugdha Mahasangh Maryadit, Raipur (CG).

What Happens on the Day

Candidates are required to physically attend the interview as per the schedule, arriving at the venue 30 minutes before the interview time. NIT Raipur Project Assistant Important Instructions

• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, with a tenure of 3 months only from the date of joining.
• The Project Assistant will not be entitled to any regular leave, but is allowed to have CL and RH as per NITRR rules.
• The Project Assistant is required to adhere to administrative, financial, and disciplinary regulations of NITRR, and regular attendance will be maintained.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, which will be held in offline mode only.
• The Institute reserves the right to cancel the post without assigning any reason.
