AMU Lady Superintendent Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Directorate of School Education has announced 1 temporary vacancy for the Lady Superintendent post in Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged. The engagement is for 01 year or till the post is filled through GSC, whichever is earlier, with a fixed pay of Rs. 20,000 per month. Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree with a Degree/Diploma in Education. Candidates should fill the application form only in online mode at the Careers Portal of the university and pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 online, with PwD candidates exempted. The online application starts on 22 October 2026 and closes on 29 October 2026, and the hard copy submission last date is 29 October 2026. The selection process consists of an interview scheduled for 7 November 2026.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must fulfill the essential educational and skill qualifications prescribed for the post:

• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree with Degree/Diploma in Education.
• Experience: Experience of teaching/administration in a school for the blind.
• Practical Knowledge: Sound practical knowledge of Tailoring, Embroidery and Cooking.
• Special Skill: Knowledge of Braille with some experience of looking after Blind Girls.

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 20,000/- per month. The tenure is 01 year or till the post is filled through GSC, whichever is earlier. The nature of duties is administrative, residential, non-vocational, and includes free accommodation in the girls hostel.

2. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- online at the Careers Portal. PwD candidates must upload an authentic Disability certificate on the prescribed Proforma to claim fee exemption.
3. Take the printout of the PDF file of the Application Form on A-4 size paper after successful submission.
4. Append your signature and paste a front-facing recent photograph at the designated place on the application form.
5. Attach self-attested copies of relevant documents including testimonials, degrees, mark sheets, and the Receipt of processing fee.
6. Send the hard copy of the application form by post, complete in all respects, super-scribing on the top-left side of the cover the post applied for, advertisement number, and its date, or deliver it personally at the Reception Counter of the Office of the Director, Directorate of School Education, AMU, Medical Road, Aligarh-202002.

Selection and Interview

The interview will be held on 07.11.2026 at 2:30 PM in the Directorate of School Education. No separate intimation letter will be issued for the interview, and candidates must check the Directorate of School Education, AMU website for updates. Eligible shortlisted candidates are advised to report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
