ESIC Surat Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 29 Professor, Senior Resident and More Posts

Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College & Hospital Surat (ESIC Surat) is holding a walk-in interview for 29 contract vacancies for Professor (3), Associate Professor (6), Assistant Professor (8), and Senior Resident (12) posts under advertisement number 02 of 2026. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in process in Surat on 26 October 2026 and 27 October 2026, reporting at 9:00 AM, by bringing the completed offline application form and required documents. The notified pay is Rs. 1,18,500 for Professor, Rs. 78,800 for Associate Professor, and Rs. 67,700 for Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts, with qualifications in accordance with NMC/MCI guidelines. The selection process consists of document verification followed by an interview by the selection board.

Posts and Eligibility

Age limits as on 26-10-2026: Not exceeding 67 years for teaching faculty; not exceeding 45 years for Senior Residents, with age relaxation as per Government of India norms. Retired or working professors may also apply.

• Completed offline application form with a recent passport-size photograph (with clearly visible face and both ears, signed across)
• Demand Draft for application fee, if applicable
• Class 10th pass certificate for date of birth
• All mark sheets, attempt certificate, and degree certificate of MBBS
• All mark sheets, attempt certificate, and degree certificate of MD/MS/DNB or other examination
• Valid EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwBD certificate issued in the Central Government appointment format, if applicable
• Updated State or NMC Medical Registration Certificate
• Proof of publications, experience certificate, relieving or NOC certificate from previous or current employer, and Aadhaar card
• Completion certificate of ICMR/MMC approved Basic Course in Biomedical Research and NMC approved Revised Basic Course Workshop/Basic Course in Medical Education Workshop certificate, if any
• Self-attested copies of all required documents along with originals for verification

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must report between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the specified interview date at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Surat. Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will be considered absent. Candidates must first appear before the Document Verification Committee. Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified will be allowed to appear before the Interview Board. Selection is based on acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview.
