Delhi University Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Delhi University has notified 1 vacancy for the post of JRF on a contractual basis, purely co-terminus with the project terminating in Sep 2027. Applicants for the JRF post must hold an MSc in any branch of life sciences OR B.S. (4 years programme) / Integrated BS-MS/ BPharm/ MBBS/ BE/BTech Biotechnology or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences, with 55% marks, along with NET or GATE qualification. The remuneration offered is Rs. 37,000 plus HRA p.m., with selection based on an interview. Essential Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates with experience in Microbiology lab work will be preferred.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The upper age limit is 28 years on the date of application. Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will receive consolidated emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA per month. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis and is co-terminus with the CSIR-funded project, which terminates in September 2027.
