ICAR CRRI Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 24 Young Professional, Agricultural Field Operator Posts

ICAR Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR CRRI) has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview to fill 24 temporary vacancies, comprising 1 Young Professional-II (YP-II), 3 Young Professional-I (YP-I), and 20 Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) posts. The walk-in interviews are scheduled for 2 November 2026 and 3 November 2026 with reporting at 10:00 AM at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack. Specifically, the interview for Young Professional-II and Young Professional-I takes place on 2 November 2026, while the Agricultural Field Operator interview is on 3 November 2026. The consolidated monthly pay is Rs. 42,000 for YP-II, Rs. 30,000 for YP-I, and Rs. 18,000 for AFO. Candidates must bring the downloaded biodata form, one recent photograph, and original educational certificates with Xerox copies.

Posts and Eligibility

Desirable Qualification: One to two years of working experience is desirable for the Young Professional-II position.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years for Young Professional-II and Young Professional-I posts. Minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years for Agricultural Field Operator posts. Age relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

• Original educational certificates from matriculation onwards (including documents available on Digilocker).
• Xerox copies of all required educational certificates.
• Experience certificate in the relevant subject, if applicable.
• Filled Biodata form downloaded from the official website.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respective employer or institution for candidates currently employed or pursuing studies.

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must report strictly on time for their scheduled interview session. If a large number of candidates appear for the walk-in interview, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates. Eligible candidates will be considered equally, with preference given to candidates having work experience in an ICAR institute.
