IIT Bombay Part Time Pre Primary Teacher Recruitment 2026 – Walkin

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is recruiting candidates for 2 Part Time Pre Primary Teacher posts on a temporary basis for a tenure of 6 months. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in selection process on 4 November 2026, reporting at 9:30 AM in Mumbai, with candidates reporting late beyond 10:00 AM not being considered. Applicants must bring a resume and self-attested copies of all certificates along with originals, and possess the required qualifications along with competence to teach in Hindi/English. Posts and Eligibility

The position requires candidates to meet specific educational standards along with a 35-hour per week working commitment. The age limit is 40 years, subject to relaxation as per rules.

Educational Qualifications:

• Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, along with a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education (DECED) or equivalent of a duration not less than two years and having competence to teach in Hindi/English. Freshers may also apply.
• OR Graduate degree with Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCED) or equivalent of a duration not less than one year and having competence to teach in Hindi / English. Freshers may also apply.
