IIT Delhi Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) Recruitment Cell has notified 1 vacancy for the Consultant for Works Accounts Section post on a contract basis. Eligible candidates can apply by email on or before 2 November 2026 after downloading the prescribed application form from the IIT Delhi website, filling it, affixing a recent passport-size photograph, and attaching self-attested copies of educational qualification and experience documents in PDF format. The required qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average, and the notified pay is Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 45,000. The selection process consists of shortlisting, a screening test if a large number of applications are received, and an interview.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Essential Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.

Desired Education Qualification: Diploma or certification in Computer Applications, Advanced Financial Accounting, or related areas from a recognized institution.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 01 (One) year of post-qualification work experience in handling Works/ Accounts/ Finance/ Procurement matters in Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)/ Reputed Educational or Research Institutions.

Age Limit: Below 35 years as of 02.11.2026.

Selection Process

Applications received within the due date will be shortlisted by a Committee. The prescribed essential qualifications and experience are minimum, and mere possession does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. If a large number of applications are received, IIT Delhi reserves the right to conduct a Shortlisting/Screening Test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, the date of which will be intimated separately through email.
