Who Can Apply

Eligible personnel working in Central and State Governments, Central and State PSUs, or Central and State autonomous or statutory bodies may apply. Candidates must meet the following qualification and experience criteria:

• Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis in Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; or officers with five years of regular service in posts in Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in handling Administration, Human Resource Development, Establishment, Recruitment, or Finance.
• Possessing a degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, or a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Pay and Terms

The selected candidate will receive pay in Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay matrix (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/-). Since WDRA does not have residential facilities, House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Central Government employee admissibility rules will be provided. The appointment is made on a deputation basis initially for three years, extendable by the competent authority. Absorption in WDRA can be considered after two years of working on deputation based on performance and organisational need.

The Role

The Deputy Director (Human Resource) manages the HR division, including manpower recruitment for WDRA, day-to-day HR processes, payroll, leave management, Management Information Systems (MIS), and employee relations, alongside other duties assigned by the competent authority.

Selection Process

Selection is conducted on a deputation or absorption basis from eligible personnel through official nominations and review of CR dossiers, vigilance clearance, and performance evaluations by the competent authority.
