Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (University of Delhi) (SSCBS) has notified 6 vacancies for Assistant, Library Assistant, and Junior Assistant posts on a deputation basis, with offline applications to be submitted through proper channel to The Principal, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (University of Delhi), PSP Area IV, Dr. K.N. Katju Marg on or before 2 November 2026, and hard copies reaching the college by 9 November 2026. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree along with post-specific experience and typing proficiency. The pay scales are Level-4 for Assistant, Level-3 for Library Assistant, and Level-2 for Junior Assistant. Selection is based on ACRs quality assessment followed by an interview.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Assistant Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/University; two-year experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent in a University, Research Establishment, Central/State Govt., PSU, Autonomous Bodies, or equivalent pay package in reputed Private Companies/corporate banks with a minimum annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crores or more; English typing @ 35 wpm or Hindi typing @ 30 wpm; proficiency in computer operations; one week of job specific training/skill enhancement program conducted by a College/University.

Library Assistant Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.

Junior Assistant Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/University; English typing @ 35 wpm or Hindi typing @ 30 wpm; proficiency in computer operations.

Selection Process

The selection will be made on the basis of quality of ACRs and interview. Persons on direct line of promotion in the cadre are not eligible for appointment on deputation basis. The deputation period is initially for one year extendable annually up to three years.
