All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna (AIIMS Patna) has notified 3 vacancies on a deputation basis for Librarian Grade-I (Documentalist), Manager / Supervisor / Gas Officer, and Laundry Manager posts. Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Librarian Grade-I (Documentalist) Eligibility: Officers under Central/State Governments/U.T./Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 3 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 4200/-. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Institute (or B.Sc. Degree / equivalent plus Bachelor Degree or Graduate Diploma / Equivalent in Library Science), 5 years’ experience in a library of repute, and ability to use computers with hands-on experience in office applications, spreadsheets, and presentations. Desirable: Diploma in Computer Applications.

Manager / Supervisor / Gas Officer Eligibility: Official holding analogous post in Government Organizations or holding posts with 11 years of relevant experience in grade pay of Rs. 2800/-. Essential qualification includes a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 or 7 years working experience with Manifold or its repairs in a supervisory capacity in a Medical Setup, and must be capable of carrying out work associated with Medical Gas Management distribution line, taps, cocks, and outlets.

Laundry Manager Eligibility: Officers working in a minimum 200-bedded hospital of Central/State/U.T. Governments or Central/Autonomous/Statutory/Local Self Government Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings holding analogous posts, or holding a post in grade pay of Rs. 2400/- with 10 years of regular service. Essential qualifications include 12th pass, Diploma/Certificate in Dry Cleaning / Laundry Technology from a recognized Institute, and 12 years’ experience in a reputed mechanized Laundry.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for applying for the aforesaid posts on deputation is 56 years as on the last date of posting of application.

Selection Process

The selection process is regulated as per the relevant Recruitment Rules/DoPT instructions as applicable. The period of deputation will be for a period of three (3) years and extendable for a maximum period of five years as per DoPT guidelines. Applications without Vigilance Clearance and attested copies of CR/APAR Dossiers will not be considered.
