The selection process involves shortlisting of candidates followed by document verification and an interview.
Selection Procedure Details
Shortlisting of candidates for interview is done based on educational qualification, relevant experience, and/or short-chain criteria decided by the Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Nagpur.
In case of a large number of applications, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for interviews.
Scrutiny of applications and document verification will be conducted before the interview. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview.
Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks (suitability standard) in the interview as fixed by the Selection Committee.

AIIMS Nagpur Senior Resident Important Instructions
The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months and 29 days.
Those working in Central, State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the appointment.
The appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary.
The appointee shall not be entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, or medical attendance treatment applicable to regular government servants.
Resignation or applying elsewhere within the first three months of joining will not make the candidate eligible for an NOC, relieving letter, or experience certificate.
The appointee shall be on whole-time engagement of AIIMS Nagpur and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise.
