Eligibility (A or B):A. i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.Note: Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009, are governed by certain exemptions as per UGC norms.ORB. The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) The Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).

Rs. 1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month vide UGC guidelines No.F.25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28.01.2019.
As per F&A rules, 10% or 20% respectively for those with and without PAN may be deducted towards income tax, unless a certificate of exemption from a competent authority is submitted.

The engagement of Guest Faculty shall be through Walk-in-Interview.

CTUAP Guest Faculty Important Instructions
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis for the current academic semester and may be extended further if required.
Candidates are requested to report at the venue 1 hour before interview time.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the walk-in-interview.
The superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Guest Faculty will not be treated like regular teachers for voting rights or becoming members of statutory bodies.
Guest Faculty will not be given the benefit of allowances, pension, gratuity, and leave as admissible to regular teachers.
Candidates must provide an undertaking that their submitted publications are free from plagiarism.
Qualifications and other conditions are subject to UGC regulations 2018.
